A STUDY OF WEBSITE VISIBILITY IN WEBOMETRICS RANKING OF WORLD UNIVERSITY BY USING SEO TOOL IN NEW NORMAL

Abstract

Today, Thailand will change to New Normal.People can access information and news easy and fast by using high technology especially, website data which presented from organization and this includes data and other details from education institution too. Webometrics ranking of world universities is the ranking of education websites which assessed accessibility of website content. This research article aims to 1) study the assessment of the number of backlinks to educational institutions' websites using different tools in the New Normal 2) Study tools that can be used to assess the website's reputation on the Internet in the New Normal. It is quantitative research to collect data online from the websites of educational institutions in Thailand that are ranked by Webometrics Ranking of World Universities. The research population is 193 websites of educational institutions in Thailand ranked by Webometrics Ranking of World Universities for January 2023. The research samples used in the top 10 and bottom 10 universities in Thailand ranking and consider Webometrics visibility indicators by using Search Engine Optimization Tool (SEO Tool). The 2 groups of SEO tools are Webometrics tools which consist of Ahrefs and Majestic SEO and other SEO Tools, Semrush and Alexa. Research findings about linking content to the institute's website can be used as a reference in the management of content or information on the website in the New Normal era, including disseminating the academic content, course content and news of the institute to be public. can be known on the internet network in the digital age and the results can be used to assess the university rankings of educational institutions using Webometrics to make the famous institute.
