AN ANALYTICAL STUDY OF THAI POLITICIANS’ETHICS BASED ON BUDDHIST DOCTRINES

Abstract

     The objectives of this research article were: 1) to study ethics for politicians according to Buddhist principles and to analyze ethics of politicians according to the code of ethics and 2) to synthesize ethics of politician according to code of ethics and Buddhist principles. This research was conducted based on Documentary Research Methodology and concluded with analysis approach.

     The result of the study found that: Code of ethics for members of the Thai Parliament who are Thai politicians at the national level from the House of Representatives Articles of Association on the Code of Ethics for Members of the House of Representatives and Commissioners B.E. On the Code of Ethics for Senators and Commissioners, 2010, which is the Code of Ethics of Thai Politicians, found that there are a total of 32 ethical issues. It can be concluded that there are 12 ethics according to the Code of Ethics that Thai politicians should adhere to and treat themselves. 9 items to others and 11 items to society.
