GUIDELINES FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACADEMIC ADMINISTRATION IN THE DIGITAL AGE BASED ON THE FOUR PATHS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT OF RDDHIPADA OF THE SRIPHUTTHA GROUP SCHOOLS SAMUTPRAKAN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to (1) study the state of academic administration of Sriphuttha Group Schools in Samut Prakan province, (2) study methods of academic administration in the digital age based on the four paths of accomplishment of Sriphuttha Group Schools in Samut Prakan province, and (3) propose the guidelines for academic administration in the digital age based on the four paths of accomplishment of Sriphuttha Group Schools in Samut Prakan province. The data were collected by interviews and questionnaire from 217 teachers and then analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, and content analysis.

The result of the study found that: The state of academic administration of Sriphuttha Group Schools in Samut Prakan province was at a high level overall, it was at the highest level. When considering each side from the average to the least, teaching and learning administration, instructional media, measurement and evaluation, school internal supervision, and curriculum administration, respectively.

The methods of academic administration in the digital age based on the four paths of accomplishment of Sriphuttha Group Schools in Samut Prakan province are as follows: 1) In curriculum administration, there are conceptual framework of academic development and curriculum improvement and adjustment suitable to school environment and community contexts. 2) In teaching and learning administration, there are building and developing learning innovations. 3) In measurement and evaluation, there are processes and improvement of measurement and evaluation suitable to the school contexts. 4) In instructional media, there are development of media and media-assist-instrument, compact lesson media, and online media. 5) In school internal supervision, there are policy setting, promoting and supporting supervision, developing and improving supervision system suitable to the school contexts.

The guidelines for academic administration in the digital era based on the four paths of accomplishment of Sriphuttha Group Schools in Samut Prakan province age to frame up the academic administration with Chanda, Viriya, Citta, and Vimamsa. With the four paths of accomplishment as the frame in academic administration, development of school curriculum and community curriculum, building and developing learning innovations, instructional media, improving criteria of measurement and evaluation, and developing school internal supervision can be beneficial to the learners at most.
