The Administrative Skills of Academic Administrators in the 21st Century Affecting the Effectiveness of Vocational Colleges in Udon Thani Province Under the Office of Vocational Education Commission

Abstract

The objectives of this research article were to study (1) levels of administrative skills of academic administrators in the 21^st century, (2) levels of effectiveness of colleges, (3) the relation between administrative skills of academic administrators in the 21^st century and effectiveness of colleges under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission, and (4) levels of administrative skills of academic administrators in the 21^st century afecting the effectiveness of colleges under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission. The samples were 226 persons from the administration and teachers in the colleges under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission of the academic year 2021 by the limit samples by using the tables of Krejcie & Morgan and stratified sampling. The instruments using for this research were 5 rating scales questionnaires with the reliability of 0.98. The statistics using for data analysis included percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The result of the study found that for overall on the levels of administrative skills of academic administrators in the 21^st century under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission were in high level. For overall on the levels of effectiveness of colleges under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission were in high level. For overall on relation between administrative skills of academic administrators in the 21^st century and effectiveness of colleges under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission was founded that the positive relationship was in medium level and was on statistical significance at .01 level. The administrative skills of academic administrators in the 21^st century to affecting the effectiveness of colleges under the office of Udon Thani vocational commission were the skills on vision, analysis, creation, technological skills and digital were on multiple correlation at .720 and were on statistic significance at 0.01 level and were on prediction coefficient or prophecy at the percentage of 51.90.
