THE The Guidelines to Develop The Digital Leadership for Teachers under Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

This research aims to (1) study the digital leadership of teachers under the Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and (2) develop guidelines for enhancing the digital leadership of teachers in this area. The population consists of 930 individuals, including teachers in educational institutions under the Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 during the 2023 academic year. The sample group, consisting of 274 participants, was determined by stratified random sampling according to the proportion of teachers in each district. Data collection involved 5 experts. The research tools included a digital leadership questionnaire with a 5-point rating scale. Statistical analysis methods used frequency distribution, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Additionally, an interview form was used to gather guidelines for leadership development. Content analysis by 5 experts in digital leadership was conducted. The research findings indicated that the overall digital leadership level of teachers under the Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 was high. When considering each aspect, it was found that the highest average was in digital communication, while the lowest was in digital citizenship. The study of digital leadership development guidelines suggested that the Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 should organize workshops to provide knowledge about essential skills for adapting to the modern world. This includes preventing problems and using technology to benefit daily life, thereby enhancing the abilities of personnel to integrate and utilize digital technology efficiently.
