The Participative Administration of School Administrators under Chachoengsao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

This research aimed to (1) study the level of participatory management by school administrators under the Office of Chachoengsao Primary Educational Service Area 1 based on teachers' opinions, and (2) compare the participatory management of school administrators under the same office by gender, age, educational level, and work experience, as perceived by teachers. The sample group consisted of 308 teachers from the Chachoengsao Primary Educational Service Area 1 in the academic year 2024, selected using Krejcie and Morgan's table and stratified random sampling by school location, followed by simple random sampling. The research instrument was a standardized 5-level Likert scale questionnaire with a reliability coefficient of .99. The data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA. The result of the study found that: 1) Participatory Management by School Administrators under the Chachoengsao Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, Based on Teachers’ Opinions It was found that the overall and individual aspects of participatory management were rated at a high level. The rankings of the average scores from highest to lowest were as follows: participation in operations, participation in receiving benefits, participation in evaluation, participation in decision-making, and participation in setting goals and objectives together. 2) The comparison of participatory management by school administrators, based on teachers’ opinions, revealed that: When categorized by educational level and work experience, there were no statistically significant differences overall. When categorized by gender and age, statistically significant differences.
