Guidelines for promoting student behavior in educational institutions according to the standards of the Semarak Center staff network into practice Saraburi Provincial Education Office

Abstract

This research article aims to (1) study the behavior management of students in educational institutions under the Saraburi Provincial Education Office, and (2) develop guidelines for promoting student behavior in educational institutions according to the standards of the Samarak Network staff towards implementation at the Saraburi Provincial Education Office. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, divided into two phases: Phase 1 focuses on studying the behavior management of students in educational institutions under the Saraburi Provincial Education Office, with a population of 30 school administrators. The research tool used is a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire, and data are analyzed using mean and standard deviation. Phase 2 involves developing guidelines for promoting student behavior according to the standards of the Samarak Network staff towards implementation at the Saraburi Provincial Education Office. The draft guidelines are created and evaluated through focus group discussions with 9 experts selected specifically. The research tools include recording forms and evaluation forms assessing the usefulness, appropriateness, accuracy, and feasibility of the guidelines for promoting student behavior in educational institutions according to the standards of the Samarak Network staff towards implementation at the Saraburi Provincial Education Office. Data are analyzed using mean, standard deviation, and content analysis. The study results indicate that (1) the overall behavior management of students in educational institutions is at a high level, and (2) the promotion of student behavior management according to the SAFETY Model comprises six components, emphasizing proactive work by stakeholders. Experts believe that the guidelines are highly beneficial in terms of accuracy, appropriateness, and feasibility.
