Knowledge Exchange Conference on Enhancing the Quality of Thai Journals in International Databases

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Assistant Professor Doctor Siriporn Somboonbooran, Editor in Chief of Asia Social Issues, and Mrs. Opor Ninlaart, Manager of Asia Social Issues, attended the "Knowledge Exchange Conference on Enhancing the Quality of Thai Journals in International Databases" at Chor Pradu Meeting Room, Walailak University, Nakhon Si Thammarat. The event was organized by Trends in Sciences journal in collaboration with the Journal of Buddhist Anthropology. In the beginning Associate Professor Dr. Pongpit Channuie, Editor-in-Chief of Trends in Sciences, delivered the opening remarks and presented strategies for developing the university's journal system. The highlight of the Seminar featured Professor Dr. Narongrit Sombatsompop, Director of the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI), who gave a special lecture on “Enhancing the Quality of Thai Journals in International Databases and Strategies for Promoting Thai Journals to Scopus.” The Seminar attracted more than 80 participants from 35 journals across the country, reflecting the shared commitment of the Thai journal network to elevate publication standards to the international level.
