THE DEVELOPMENT OF SANGHA ADMINISTRATION IN MUEANG DISTRICT, RATCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract

This article was a study of the conditions and comparison, and studied problems, obstacles and suggestions of monks’ administration development. This was a mix-method research; the findings were that the developing management condition in overall was at a high level, the different personal factors had no different opinions, therefore rejected the research hypothesis. Problems and obstacles; some lack of knowledge and understanding in the practice of Dhamma, discipline, lack of interaction between temples and communities, did not have a concrete work summary, having a limitations in supporting, lack of personnel spreading knowledge of Buddhism. Therefore, monks should follow the discipline, organized activities to interaction between temples and communities, should have a summary of the work to be concrete every time, the government should support education, and funds for monks' education should be provided.
