DEVELOPING VIRTUAL REALITY TECHNOLOGY FOR PROMOTING TOURISM AT THE BUENG PALANCHAI AREA IN ROI ET PROVINCE

Abstract

Objectives of this research were: 1. To develop virtual technology media, 2. To find the quality of virtual technology media and 3. To find satisfaction of virtual technology media. The target group of this study was 30 students of the Faculty of Education, Roi Et Rajabhat University. The tools used in the study consisted of 1. Virtual technology media to promote tourism at the Bueng PalanChai, Roi Et Province 2. Virtual technology media quality assessment to Promote Tourism at Bueng PalanChai Area, Roi Et Province and 3. Satisfaction assessment form for using virtual reality technology to promote tourism at Bueng PalanChai, Roi Et Province The statistics used were mean and standard deviation.

The results of the media development resulted in two outcomes:       1. 9 types of Makers at Bueng PalanChai area and 2.  AR applications for Bueng PalanChai area. It was found that the appropriateness was at  very high level, with the mean value at 4.38 and the S.D. value at 0.17 at  very reasonable level and there was a result of finding satisfaction of virtual technology media to promote tourism in Roi Et Province at the Bueng PalanChai area was found that the suitability was at a high level, with an average value at 4.38 and an S.D. value at 0.17, at a very appropriate level.
