BUDDADHAMMA INTEGRATION FOR PROMOTING THE PERFORMANCE OF SUB-DISTRICT ADMINISTRATIVE ORGANIZATION PERSONNEL IN SAMUT SAKHON PROVINCE

Abstract

The objective of this research papers were to study the integration of Buddhist principles to promote the performance of personnel in sub-district administrative organizations in Samut Sakhon Province. The research method was mixed-methods. The data were collected from 160 samples. The research instruments were questionnaires and interviews. The data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially. The results showed that: 1. The performance of personnel in sub-district administrative organizations in Samut Sakhon Province was found to be at a high level overall, in order of excellent service, teamwork, achievement orientation, understanding of the organization and work system, and adherence to correctness and ethics, respectively. 2. The factors affecting the performance of personnel in sub-district administrative organizations in Samut Sakhon Province showed that management, namely, leading, planning, controlling, and the four principles of influence, namely, citta, vimangsa, diligence, and chanda, had a statistically significant effect on performance at a level of 0.05. 3. The integration of Buddhist principles to promote performance is as follows: performance orientation, adherence to correctness and ethics, understanding of the organization and work system, excellent service, and teamwork. The four principles of influence are integrated to create performance. It also applies management as a foundation in terms of planning, organization, leadership and control.
