MODEL OF SANGHA HEALTH MANAGEMENT ACCORDING TO THE NATIONAL SANGHA HEALTH CONSTITUTION IN ANGTHONG PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research paper are 1. to study the general condition of monastic well-being management, 2. to determine the factors affecting monastic well-being management, and 3. to present a model of monastic well-being management according to the National Monastic Health Constitution. In Ang Thong Province, integrated research is used. Quantitatively collected data from 314 monks with a confidence questionnaire of 0.825, analyzed with various statistics, and qualitative from 20 important informants. Data analysis by descriptive content analysis method.

Findings showed that: 1. The management of monastic well-being in Ang Thong Province is systematic and effective. The training was conducted to build relationships with the community. The weaknesses are the lack of knowledge and skills in medical care and the discontinuous integration between departments. There is an opportunity to develop the monastic health system by emphasizing cooperation between various sectors, but the obstacle lies in the lack of budget. Monks in Ang Thong Province have a large level of opinion on the management of well-being according to the National Monastic Health Constitution. with all aspects at a high level. According to the constitution, the process of managing the well-being of the monks does not affect their management. However, the principle of Dharma influence has a statistically significant effect at the level of 0.01 (Multiple R = 0.198, R² = 0.039), indicating that the principle of Dharma influence can predict the management of the well-being of monks by 3.9 percent.
