BUDDHADHAMMA INTEGRATION FOR PROMOTING LEADERSHIP IN POLICE GOVERNANCE UNDER THE METROPOLITAN POLICE HEADQUARTERS

Abstract

Objectives of this research article were: 1. study the leadership in the administration of police officers under the Metropolitan Police Bureau, 2. study the factors affecting the leadership in the administration of police officers under the Metropolitan Police Bureau, and 3. present the integration of Buddhist principles to promote leadership in the administration of police officers under the Metropolitan Police Bureau. The researcher has determined the research method using a mixed-method approach, including qualitative research using in-depth interviews with 18 key informants, and focus group discussions 8 experts, and quantitative research using questionnaires, collecting data from a sample group of 393 Metropolitan Police officers under the Metropolitan Police Bureau. Data were analyzed by finding frequencies, percentages, means, standard deviations, and multiple regression analysis.

The research results found that: 1. Leadership in governing police officers under the Metropolitan Police Bureau consists of 1. Pioneering and researching new things. 2. In terms of keeping up with the world, knowledge should be encouraged to use appropriate tools.  3. Being a creative developer 4. He is a relentless fighter. 5. Playing a role in social development and making sacrifices 6. Responsibility in work. 2. Factors affecting the leadership in governing police officers under the Metropolitan Police Headquarters were found to be leadership and principles of secularism. Affects the leadership in governing police officers under the Metropolitan Police Bureau at a statistical significance of 0.01. and 3. Integration of Buddhist principles to promote leadership in the governance of police officers under the Metropolitan Police Headquarters. It was found that Garavasadhamma Including 1. Truth, keeping your word. 2. Dharma, determination, adhering to the principles of rightness and fairness. 3. Tolerance, maintaining normalcy. Have tolerance, patience and 4.
