RISK MANAGEMENT IN PEOPLE'S DAILY LIVES BASED ON THE PRINCIPLES OF DITTHADHAMMIKATTHA BENEFITS

Abstract

This academic article aimed to study the risk management in people’s lives using the principle of Ditthadhammikatprayot. The method used was to study Tripitaka and related documents. The results of the study were found that risks in people’s lives could be divided into 6 types: 1. Financial and property risks 2. Operational risks 3. Reputation risks 4. Health and safety risks 5. Personnel risks 6. Information and communication technology risks. The principles of Ditthadhammikataprayot can be applied. 1. Utthanasampatha (Diligence) People who work diligently, do not be careless, manage their work appropriately, earn a moderate living, maintain their earned wealth, have faith and morality, know words without stinginess, and always purify the path of Samparayikathaprayot. 2. Arakkhasampatha (Knowing how to protect wealth and save), avoiding doing evil or being intoxicated with vices, such as not drinking alcohol or taking drugs. 3. Kalyanamittata (keep good company as friends) because if we do not know how to choose to be friends with wise people, that is, Kalyanamitta, it will be the cause of us losing the wealth we have earned. 4. Sammajivata (make a living according to the wealth we have earned) do not be too poor, do not be extravagant, make a living consistently or appropriately.
