Abstract

This research aimed to 1. study the current situation and needs in managing temple assets in Thailand, 2. develop a database operating system for temple asset management, and 3. evaluate the efficiency and user satisfaction of the developed system. The research methodology employed a research and development approach. Data were collected from 390 monks and personnel involved in temple asset management using questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and focus group discussions. The system was then developed based on user requirements. The system's efficiency was evaluated by 15 experts, and user satisfaction was assessed by 150 users.

The research findings revealed that: 1. Most temples still use traditional asset management methods, facing problems such as a lack of expertise and technological limitations. 2. The developed system consists of three main modules: knowledge about religious property management, methods for creating asset registries, and asset registration. 3. The evaluation results showed that the system's efficiency was at a very good level (mean=4.65), and user satisfaction was at the highest level (mean=4.54).
