Abstract

This article provides a review of paradigms in Thailand’s Humanities and Social Science branches that based their studies on the basics of human communication. Among them are Humanities, Anthropology and Communication Arts (or Communication Studies). Within the sight of the review, the general paradigm problem found is the lack of conceptual integration on human communication in itself that covers the worlds of subjectivity and objectivity in their studies with dynamics. The article then proposes paradigm adjustment with the conceptualizations from the debates of the Ontological turn. It also demonstrates the needs for further ontological methodology. Furthermore, the article criticizes examples of relative paradigms.
