Abstract

          The study on Police officers’ Opinions toward Physical Environment Factors Causing Property Crime. : A Case Study Of Bangna Police Station Responsibility Area. The objective of research was to study Police officers’ Opinions toward Physical Environment Factors Causing Property Crime and find out ways to prevent Property Crime effectively in the responsibility area. A sample was selected from 109 police officers of Bangna Police Station, who officiate in the crime scene The research instruments was a questionnaire for police officers’ opinions toward physical environment factors causing property crime. The data was analyzed by statistics. The results of the study were as follows 1. Bangna Police Station Responsibility Area are several entrances and shortcut, 2. Many residences are not installed bolt locks at the doors and windows. 3. The CCTV, alarm system and lights are not mostly installed in Bangna Police Station Responsibility Area. 4. Police officers were not enough to duty. The protective ways for improvement are to adjust the physical environment such as CCTV and lights installing and increase the numbers of police officers to prevent property crime in risky area.
