A comparative study of the political ideology in CLMV for economic development

Abstract

           The objectives of this research “A comparative study of the political ideology in CLMV for economic development” were (1) to study political ideology in CLMV (2) to compare political ideology among CLMV in order to create a road map of different economic development policy. For example, Cambodia, which has a democratic ideology, proposes the road map of economic development policy which is consistent with the democratic political ideology. Vietnam and Laos which have socialism ideology set the road map of economic development policy which is consistent with socialism ideology. Myanmar has military dictatorship ideology, but Myanmar can set a capitalism and socialism policies depending on the decision by military government. A though ideology as democracy, socialism and military dictatorship has different principle and goals, political ideology in CLMV has the same common thing that is state benefits and national development for the well-being of the people and the release from being underdeveloped country.
