Abstract
ต้นศตวรรษที่ 21 เป็นต้นศตวรรษแห่งการตื่นตัวเพื่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงในหลากหลายสาขาวิชาการ และในหลากหลายกระบวนทัศน์ ดังกรณีสาขาวิชาการเกี่ยวกับภาวะผู้นำ มีนักวิชาการและหน่วยงานให้ความสนใจต่อการนำเสนอคุณลักษณะภาวะผู้นำสำหรับศตวรรษที่ 21 ซึ่งผู้เขียนได้นำมาสังเคราะห์ พบว่า มีคุณลักษณะที่สำคัญ ดังนี้ คือ มีวิสัยทัศน์เพื่อการเปลี่ยนแปลง มีความร่วมมือ มีการเสริมพลังอำนาจ มีการให้และการบริการ มีจินตนาการและนวัตกรรม มีการเรียนรู้ด้วยกัน มีการสร้างชุมชน มีการสร้างเครือข่าย มีการนำร่วมกัน มีการสื่อสารที่เข้มแข็ง มีการบริหารความก้าวหน้าส่วนบุคคลหรือในวิชาชีพ มีความยืดหยุ่น เหล่านี้เป็นคุณลักษณะที่สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความหมายของภาวะผู้นำในเชิงบูรณาการระหว่างความหมายที่มีพื้นฐานความคิดเพื่อบรรลุความสำเร็จด้วยคนอื่น และความหมายที่มีพื้นฐานความคิดเพื่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงและเพื่ออนาคตที่ดีกว่า เป็นคุณลักษณะที่จะต้องมีคู่กันกับคุณลักษณะการบริหารจัดการ ช่วยเสริมกันและกัน ไม่แยกออกจากกัน เพราะจะสร้างปัญหามากกว่าจะแก้ปัญหา
LEADERSHIP FOR THE 21st CENTURY
The early 21st century is the century of the alert to changes in a variety of academic disciplines and in a variety of paradigms. As in the case of the discipline of leadership, scholars and organizations are interested in proposing leadership traits for the 21st century. The author has synthesized leadership traits and found significant features as follows: vision for change, collaboration, empowerment, giving and serving, imagination and innovation, learning together, building community, networking, leading together, strong communication, personal/professional growth management, and flexibility. These features that reflect the meaning of leadership in the integration of the ideas fundamental to achieving success with others and the basic idea to organizational change for a better future. The feature that has to be coupled with the management feature, help each other, not separated; unless will create more problems than solving.
