Abstract

The purposes of this research were: 1) to construct and assess the efficiency of learning activities by using context-based learning with infographics to enhance scientific literacy and attitude toward science on the topic of chemical bonds for grade 10 students at the level of 75/75 and 2) to study the outcomes of using the learning activity before and after using the learning activity and to study the results of learning activities by using context-based learning with infographics. The sample group was 30 of grads 10 students at Traim Udom Suksa School of the North to simple random sampling. The data were analyzed by mean, standard deviation, E1/E2 and dependent t-test. The result indicated that:
1. Context-based learning with infographics activities had 5 steps were as follow; 1) create visual information from situations, 2) suspecting and planning, 3) learning task and create visual conclusions, 4) share and learn key concepts with infographic, and 5) apply and create infographic. Context-based learning with infographics activities had appropriated quality with highest level (gif.latex?\bar{x} = 4.92, S.D. = 0.18) and effectiveness equal 76.89/75.56.
2. Scientific literacy ability in the posttest were higher than that of the pretest with statistical level of .01 attitude toward science in the posttest were higher than that of the pretest with statistical level of .01 and students increased scientific literacy ability during context-based learning with infographics activities by learning science from context, group activities, finding answers and creating infographic. Students could analyze context, find answers and able to create reasonable answers cause attitudes towards science.
