Abstract

This research was aim to study th e present and future of faculty member’s professional network in higher education institution of northern Thailand. The study was present of faculty member’s professional network to enhance Thai people’s well-being based on the concept of new normal research project which approved by Human Research Ethic Committee COA No.277/2021. Subject; 100 volunteer in health education, physical education and sports science faculty member’s professional network. The researcher conducted the data collection by using questionnaire present and future of faculty member’s professional network in higher education institution of northern Thailand. The questionnaire is divided into 4 parts: 1) general information; 2) the present and future of faculty member’s professional network; 3) future of faculty member’s professional network; and 4) recommendations; information providers for teachers in 16 institutions of higher education in the northern region who teach in the field of health and physical education or sports science. The research was found that: The future of faculty member’s professional network, the researchers analyzed from the overview of the network development guidelines found that the faculty members expressed their opinions on the future of network development approaches at a high level, that is, the objectives should be set for the network to maintain relationships with the society involved in health education, physical education and sports science. It is also expected that the network will be a hub for exchanging knowledge, opinions and experiences in health and physical education and sports science, in line with networking guidelines that should define social development objectives and the specific performance of the group.
