Abstract
The purposes of this research were to create a causal relationship model and examine the coherence of a causal relationship model of factors affecting the workplace happiness for teacher in private school with empirical data by interviewing six teachers and private school administrators. Creating and checking the appropriateness of the model by focus group discussion between administrators, teachers, and people involved in private education management, totaling nine people. Then check the consistency of the model with the empirical data by using 534 private school teachers. The data were analyzed by the structural equation model with the Mplus program. The results were as follows: 1) The causal relationship model of factors affecting the workplace happiness for teacher in private school consisted of the leadership of administrators, quality of life at work, the nature of the assignment, interpersonal relationships, and happiness workplace, and 2) the results of checking the conformity of the model found that the model was consistent with the empirical data ((59, N=534)=76.684, p=0.060, CFI=0.998, TLI=0.996, RMSEA=0.024, SRMR=0.023). The teacher’s happiness workplace was the most directly influenced by interpersonal relationships, followed by executive leadership and quality of work life respectively. All three factors predicted teachers' happiness workplace by 99.40 percent.
