Abstract
This article aims to build understanding on strategic knowledge in playing football based on basic tactical principles. The objective is to review the importance of tactical principles, basic concepts of tactical principles as well as model in presenting tactical principles in football playing. This knowledge can be used to develop a football team to give players a tactical understanding and a model that can be used as a tool for evaluating, complimenting or giving advice for the players to improve decision-making and problem solving correctly.
