การวิจัยศึกษาตนเอง: กลยุทธ์ทางเลือกในการพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูของครู

บทคัดย่อ

การวิจัยศึกษาตนเองเป็นระเบียบวิธีวิจัยใหม่ในวงการศึกษาทั้งในไทยและต่างประเทศ และมีบทบาทสำคัญมากในการพัฒนาวิชาชีพ “ครูของครู” ในสถาบันผลิตครู โดยการวิจัยศึกษาตนเองยังถือว่าเป็นกลยุทธ์หนึ่งของการพัฒนาวิชาชีพครูเพื่อให้ครูเป็นผู้ที่มีความคิดไตร่ตรองอย่างมีวิจารณญาณผ่านการใช้กระบวนการสืบเสาะเพื่อศึกษาเกี่ยวกับตนเองในเรื่องความเชื่อ ทัศนคติ และการปฏิบัติการสอน ซึ่งจะส่งผลทำให้เกิดความเข้าใจตนเองและการพัฒนาตนเองให้ดีขึ้น ผลการพัฒนาดังกล่าวจะส่งผลไปยังนิสิตนักศึกษาครูและระบบการผลิตครูต่อไป บทความนี้จึงมีเป้าหมายเพื่ออธิบายความหมาย ลักษณะ และระเบียบวิธีวิจัยของการวิจัยศึกษาตนเอง ทั้งนี้เพื่อช่วยให้ “ครูของครู” เข้าใจและสามารถใช้ในการออกแบบการวิจัยศึกษาตนเองในบริบทการปฏิบัติงานของตนต่อไป

Abstract

Self-study is a new research methodology in education communities both in Thailandand overseas. It plays a crucial role in developing teacher educators’ profession. Self-studyresearch is also used as a professional development strategy in order to enhance teachereducators’ crtically reflective thinking. This strategy also helps teacher educators inquire about,and reflect on, their own beliefs, attitudes and practices in order to better understand anddevelop themselves. This understanding and development of themselves would result in thedevelopment of pre-service teachers and teacher education. This article therefore aims atexplaining the meanings and attributes of self-study research as well as its methodology. Thisarticle intends teacher educators to gain some ideas in designing self-study research in theirown teaching contexts.
