ข้อผิดพลาดในการเขียนเชิงวิชาการ ของนิสิตสาขาวิชาภาษาไทย มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา Common Errors in Academic Writing Made by Thai Major Students, Burapha University

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่อง “ข้อผิดพลาดในการเขียนเชิงวิชาการของนิสิตสาขาวิชาภาษาไทยมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา” มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาข้อผิดพลาดด้านเนื้อหาการใช้ภาษา และรูปแบบ ในการเขียนเชิงวิชาการของนิสิตสาขาวิชาภาษาไทย มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา และวิเคราะห์สาเหตุของความผิดพลาดตลอดจนเสนอแนะวิธีแก้ไขข้อผิดพลาดในการเขียนดังกล่าว ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิจัยนี้ ได้แก่ เค้าโครงการศึกษาค้นคว้าในรายวิชา 228391:การศึกษาค้นคว้าทางภาษาไทย 1 ของนิสิตหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาไทย ชั้นปีที่ 3 ภาคเรียนปลาย ปีการศึกษา 2555 จำนวน 69 ฉบับผลการวิจัยพบข้อผิดพลาด 3 ด้าน ดังนี้ 1. ข้อผิดพลาดด้านเนื้อหา ได้แก่1) ชื่อเรื่อง 2) ความเป็นมาและความสำคัญของปัญหา 3) วัตถุประสงค์ของการศึกษาค้นคว้า 4) ประโยชน์ที่คาดว่าจะได้รับจากการศึกษาค้นคว้า 5) ขอบเขตของการศึกษาค้นคว้า 6) วิธีดำเนินการศึกษาค้นคว้า 7) นิยามศัพท์เฉพาะ 8) เอกสารและงานวิจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการศึกษาค้นคว้า 2. ข้อผิดพลาดด้านการใช้ภาษา ได้แก่1) การเขียนสะกดคำ 2) การใช้คำ 3) การเขียนประโยค 4) การเขียนย่อหน้า5) การใช้เครื่องหมายวรรคตอนและตัวเลข 3. ข้อผิดพลาดด้านรูปแบบ ได้แก่1) ระบบหัวข้อ 2) การอ้างอิงในเนื้อหา 3) บรรณานุกรม สาเหตุของข้อผิดพลาด มีดังนี้ 1. ด้านเนื้อหา 6 สาเหตุ 2. ด้านการใช้ภาษา5 สาเหตุ 3. ด้านรูปแบบ 5 สาเหตุ และแนวทางแก้ไขข้อผิดพลาด มีดังนี้ 1. การเสริมสร้างความรู้ 2. การพัฒนาทักษะ 3. การปลูกฝังทัศนคติ

This research “Common errors in academic writing made by Thaimajor students, Burapha University” aims at studying the errors in Thailanguage usages including contents,grammar, and format, made by studentsin Thai Major, Burapha University. The purpose is to analyze the cause ofthe errors as well as to suggest error corrections. Data for this research werecollected from sixty-nine research proposal papers from Course number228391: Thai Research 1 submitted by students studying in the Third year ofBachelor degree of Arts, second semester of Academic Year 2012.From the research findings, errors are categorized into three groups;content, language usages, and format. In content errors, the research findsthat students make errors on making topic, introducing background andimportance of the study, generating purposes of the research, making theexpectations of the research, expressing the limitation of the research,determining the methodology of research, giving terms and definitions, andcomposing paragraphs of related literatures.In language usages errors,the research finds that students make errors on spelling, misusing of terms,constructing sentences, creating paragraphs, and using incorrect punctuationmarks and numbering.In format errors, the research finds that students makeerrors on arranging and managing topics, referring related works, andwriting bibliography.The research finds the causes of the errors according to the errors.Content errors are derived from 6 causes. Language usages errors aregenerated from 5 causes. Format errors are rooted from 5 causes.The researcher suggest that to reduce the errors, students should betaught to all extend by 1. Improving knowledge 2. Strengthening languageskills and 3.Embedding the right attitude toward the use of language.
