Bias and Prejudice towards History in Indian Struggle for Independence

Abstract
The Indian national movement was undoubtedly one of the biggestmass movements modern society has ever seen. It was a movement whichgalvanized millions of people of all classes and ideologies into politicalaction and brought to its knees a mighty colonial empire. The history ofIndian freedom movement has been classified on the nature of the freedomfighters: Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi (1869-1948) and Jagadish ChandraBose (1858-1937), i.e. the pacifist, non-violent approach and the extremist,radical approach. This article questions relate to the present perception ofboth personalities and the bias related to their means considered by themin their struggle for freedom.
