Preparing an Academic Article for Submission

Authors preparing academic articles for submission to journals should carefully consider key aspects to ensure that their work is comprehensive, adheres to journal standards, and reflects the quality of academic research. The detailed guidelines are as follows:

1. Clarity of Content

Article Structure:
The article should have a clear structure comprising the following essential sections:
1.1 Introduction: Clearly state the research problem or issue, along with the objectives and significance of the study.
1.2 Related Literature: Summarize and analyze relevant studies or ideas, linking them to the research topic.
1.3 Methodology: Provide detailed descriptions of data collection, analysis methods, and tools used in the study.
1.4 Findings: Present the data or results systematically.
1.5 Conclusion and Recommendations: Summarize the findings that address the research objectives and provide recommendations for application or further research.

Language:
Use concise, clear, and grammatically correct language, avoiding vague or inappropriate expressions.

Presentation of Information:
Incorporate tables, graphs, or charts to explain complex data. Ensure that each element is accompanied by clear explanations and labels.

2. Accuracy of Information

Factual Accuracy:
The information presented in the article should be accurate and reliable, especially numerical data, statistics, or research findings. Authors must verify that the data is correct and sourced from credible references.

Proofreading:
Check for typographical errors and ensure consistency throughout the article, particularly in in-text citations and the bibliography.

Originality:
The submitted manuscript must be original, unpublished elsewhere, and free from plagiarism. Maintaining academic integrity is essential for preserving the credibility of the article and the journal.

3. Source Citation

Citation Style:
Follow the APA7 (American Psychological Association, 7th Edition) citation style. Include the author’s name and year in-text, and list all references in the bibliography at the end of the article.

Sources in Thai:
For Thai sources, translate the title into English and add [in Thai] to indicate the original language.

Consistency:
Ensure that in-text citations match the entries in the bibliography, maintaining accuracy and completeness.

Online References and DOI:
If using online sources, include the URL and publication date. If a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) is available, use it instead of the URL.

4. Formatting

Article Formatting:
Organize the article according to the journal's guidelines, which may include:

  • Paper size: A4
  • Font: TH SarabunPSK, size 16
  • Page Layout: Single-column format, single spacing

Article Length:
The article should be 10–15 pages long, including references.

Tables and Graphs:
Position tables and graphs appropriately, ensuring they have clear labels and concise descriptions.

5. Appropriateness and Academic Ethics

Avoiding Plagiarism:
The article must not include any plagiarized content. Authors must appropriately credit all sources and contributors.

Adhering to Ethics:
Authors should uphold academic ethics by avoiding misrepresentation, falsification, or distortion of findings.

Submitting the Article

Authors intending to submit an article should follow the above recommendations meticulously and review the manuscript carefully. Additional details regarding writing and referencing formats can be found in the "For Authors" section on the journal’s website, which includes:

  • Formatting and page layout requirements
  • Guidelines for citing sources in APA7
  • Examples of bibliographic entries

Adhering to these instructions not only enhances the likelihood of the article being accepted for publication but also elevates the quality and credibility of the content to meet international standards. Furthermore, these practices contribute to the journal's ability to consistently publish high-quality academic work, benefiting both the academic community and society at large.
