The study of music pedagogy of elementary schools in Phraek Nam Daeng subdistrict

Abstract

By conducting the Interviews with community leaders found that the youth in  Phraek Nam Daeng Community actives has changed overtime because the technology development factors. The youth tended to spend more time on technology rather than physical activities. Most of the child in the community have the ability and interested in music, but lack of opportunity.  The research objectives were 1) to study the music teaching curriculum in elementary school Phraek Nam Daeng Subdistrict  2) to analyze data music teaching management in elementary school Phraek Nam Daeng Subdistrict.

          Results from music teaching course studying found that both schools using teaching and learning according to the office of the basic education commission. Moreover, The data analysis of music teaching and learning management in primary schools Phraek Nam Daeng Subdistrict was found that both schools having the same problems as follows: 1) Teachers do not have direct experience and expertise in teaching music, thus reducing the effectiveness of music teaching.  2) The place of teaching and learning is not conducive to music teaching including the lack of musical instruments to be used in teaching
