CREATIONG A STRATEGIC PLAN FOR COMMUNITY TOURISM DEVELOPMENT WITH A GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATICS SYSTEM IN THE LAEM PHAK BIA COMMUNITY BAN LAEM DISTRICT PHETCHABURI PROVINCE

Abstract
This research has the objective of creating a community tourism strategic plan and the application of geographic information systems in Laem Phak Bia community, Ban Laem District, Phetchaburi Province There was a sample group of 12 people involved in Laem Phak Bia community tourism and 20 people from Laem Phak Bia community by purposive selection. The research tool used was an in-depth interview form. The data were then analyzed using descriptive statistics to find frequencies, percentages, and averages.
The results of the study have created Vision for tourism in the Laem Phak Bia community “Laem Phak Bia, origin of sand, destination of salt, sustainable community, pleasant place to live and visit, perfect nature support the local way of life emphasis on community participation” and has created a Laem Phak Bia Community Tourism Strategy with 5 points: 1) Developing the quality of tourism and tourism activities, 2) Developing the potential of personnel in organizing community tourism and good hospitality, having a community tourism network, 3) community tourism management, such as a participatory tourism development plan, 4) developing and improving facilities, providing services, and safety for tourists, and 5) marketing promotion and public relations for example, creating MASCOT and developing community products and integrated with the geographic informatics system to create 2 community tourism routes. 1) Learning about the Laem Phak Bia mangrove forest ecosystem (Rest in Laem Phak Bia). 2) Trail to study the fishing way of life along the coast of Laem Phak Bia (Unseen Laem Phak Bia).
