As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Pre-submission checklist
    During the submission process, authors must review and comply with all requirements listed in the submission checklist of the Journal for Research and Innovation, Bangkok Vocational Education Institute. Failure to comply with all requirements may result in the article being returned to the author. The checklist can be downloaded at https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ivebjournal
  • Research Article
    Include the title in both Thai and English, an abstract in both Thai and English (no more than 300 words), 2-5 keywords in both Thai and English, background and significance of the problem, research objectives, research hypothesis (if any), scope of research, conceptual framework and definitions of terms (if any), research methodology, research results, discussion of results, recommendations, and references. Page numbers should be printed on every page. The article should be 10-15 pages long.
  • Academic Article
    Includes: title in both Thai and English; abstract in both Thai and English (no more than 300 words); 2-5 keywords in both Thai and English; introduction; content; conclusion; and references. Page numbers should be printed on every page. The article should be 10-15 pages long.
  • Authors submit
    Authors submit their manuscripts to the editorial team for review online via the ThaiJo system: https://so06.tci-thaijo.org/index.php/ivebjournal.
  • References
    Arrange the list of specific documents cited in the article using a numbering system, starting from [1],[2],[3],......[ ] which is the IEEE format according to the Institute's research and academic article template format, where the bibliography at the end of the article uses the APA Style 7th ed format.

Guidelines for preparing a manuscript

The original document, in Thai or English, or both languages, must use the TH Sarabun PSK font, point size, as per the research article and academic article templates. It should be printed on A4 paper, 10-15 pages long, single-sided, and include:

Title: For articles in Thai, place the English title below the Thai title. For articles in English, the English title can be used. The title should be short, concise, and directly convey the purpose and content of the article.

Author's name, position, and workplace or affiliated organization in both Thai and English.

Abstract: In Thai-language articles, the abstract must be in both Thai and English. If the article is in Thai, the Thai abstract should be presented first. If the article is in English, only the English abstract should be presented. The abstract must not exceed 300 words and must cover the main points of the article.

Content: The content should use academic language, be easy to understand, and have clear meaning (avoid colloquialisms). If abbreviations are used (both Thai and English), the full term must be stated initially. The content of the article submitted for consideration for publication must include.

In the case of academic articles, the content must include the following essential parts:

  1. Introduction: This section discusses the importance and background of the topic or issue in the article and its objectives.
  2. Content: The article is divided into sections, with the headings aligned to the left margin of the box.
  3. Conclusion: This section summarizes the main points of the article concisely and clearly.
  4. References: Use the references specified by the journal, which is APA Style 7th ed.
  5. Appendix (if any)

In the case of research articles, the content must include the following essential parts:

  1. Introduction: This section outlines the background and significance of the research problem or rationale. Relevant research should be cited.
  2. Research Objectives and Research Questions (if any)
  3. Research Hypotheses (if any)
  4. Scope of Research and Conceptual Framework (if any): This should be written in prose and/or illustrated with images to show the relationships between variables.
  5. Research Methodology: This section outlines the research methodology, including the population and sample, sampling method, data sources, data collection instruments, instrument quality assessment, data collection methods, and statistical methods used for data analysis.
  6. Research Results: This presents the research findings according to the objectives.
  7. Research Conclusion and Discussion: This summarizes the research findings in a concise manner, including a discussion of the results, critiques of the findings, and comparisons with other related research.
  8. Recommendations: This section should cover recommendations for applying the research findings and/or suggestions for future research.
  9. References: Use the APA Style 7th ed citation format. Downloadable examples are available.
  10. Illustrations in the text must be in chronological order, with image titles or descriptions below each image. If images are sourced from other sources, the source must be cited.

Note:

1. Submitted articles must not have been previously published or be under consideration for publication in any other journal.

2. Submitted articles will be published in the Journal for Research and Innovation, Institute of Vocational Education Bangkok after undergoing a double-blind peer review process by at least three qualified experts in the relevant field.

3. For articles that are not accepted for publication, the editorial board will notify the author, but will not return the manuscript.
