A 24-Pin Print Head Checker

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to design and construct a 24-pin print head checker and to investigate the efficiency of a 24-pin print head checker that was capable of detecting the impedance of each coil of the print head without removing the device. The 24-pin print head of the Fujitsu dot matrix machines, including the Dl3800, DL3850, DL7400 and DL9400, each with a total of 40 print heads, was available.
The results of the 24-pin print checker showed that the pins could work as the
objectives set and rapidly. Regarding the efficiency and accuracy of the head print, it revealed that it was at 84.62/83.20 and the precision was at 95 percent. Moreover, it was found that there are no errors from working of the 24-pin print head.
