The Development of Constructing Training Packages on the Usage of Tools and Equipment for Maintenance Work in the Building, Electrical System, Plumbing, Indoor Air-Conditioner and Fire Alarm System

Abstract

            The purposes of this research were to construct training packages and to evaluate the quality and the efficiency of the training packages on the usages of tools and equipment for maintenance work in the building, electrical system, plumbing, indoor air conditioner, and fire alarm system. The samples used in this study were 15 employees of the aintenance
Department at the Platinum Group Public Company Limited. The samples were selected by purposive sampling.

          The result showed that the training packages consisted of 5 topics as follows: 1) using a millimeter, 2) using a clamp meter, 3) using a gauge, 4) using a sliding wrench, and, 5) using a smoke detector with Adobe Flash CS5 Professional. Regarding the evaluation of the quality of the training packages by the experts, it was found that the opinions were high. It was also found that the efficiency of the training packages was 86.00 / 81.43 which was higher than the standard of 80/80 and had the average score of practice 91.11 which was higher than the standard of 80%. In overall, after the training. the trainees had the opinion at the very high level.
