The Development of Digital Technology System Management for Administration of Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism

Abstract

This research aimed to : (1) study the current conditions, desirable conditions, and priority needs for developing a digital technology system management model in the administration of Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism; and, (2) develop a digital technology system management model for the administration of  Bangkok College of Business Administration and Tourism. This study employed a mixed-method research approach. The research population consisted of 70 participants, including deputy directors and teachers. In addition, 13 experts participated in a focus group discussion, selected through purposive sampling according to specified criteria. The research instruments used for data collection were questionnaires and evaluation forms. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the Modified Priority Needs Index PNI_modified.      The findings revealed that : (1) regarding the current conditions, the desired conditions, and , the priority needs, it has found that in overall, the current conditions showed a moderate average score (=3.00,=.62), the desired conditions had the highest average score (=4.54,=.68), and the need for a budget management system had the highest value (PNImodified = .60). Regarding the structure and functions that support the system's operation, the overall current conditions had a moderate average score (=2.97,=.64), the desired conditions had the highest average score (=4.50,=.70), and the need for developing a data storage and retrieval system had the highest value (PNImodified = .63). (2) The researcher analyzed the components for developing the Digital Technology System Management Model DTSM Model developed includes. 1) Input 2) Process 3) Output 4) Feedback.The results showed that the evaluation of the model in terms of appropriateness and feasibility was at the highest level overall.The appropriateness had a mean score of (=4.98,=.56), and the feasibility had a mean score of (=5.00, =.00).
