Development of Learning Activity Package on Automatic Motorcycle Transmission System with Augmented Reality Media for Industrial Technical Students

Abstract
The objectives of this research were: 1) to develop and evaluate the effectiveness of a set of learning activities integrated with augmented reality media for industrial vocational students, and 2) to compare the learning achievement of students who studied with the learning activity package integrated with augmented reality media for industrial vocational students against the established criterion. This study employed an experimental research design. The experimental group consisted of 25 second-year vocational certificate students in the Automotive Program, academic year 2024. The research instruments included: (1) the learning activity package integrated with augmented reality media, (2) an evaluation form for the appropriateness of the learning activity package, and (3) a multiple-choice learning achievement test with 30 items. The test had an IOC ranging from 0.60–1.00, difficulty indices ranging from 0.33–0.97, discrimination indices ranging from 0.00–0.80, and a reliability coefficient of 0.94. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, standard deviation, and the Wilcoxon signed-rank test.
The research findings revealed that: (1) the overall appropriateness of the learning activity package integrated with augmented reality media for industrial vocational students was rated at a high level ( = 4.44, S.D. = 0.12), and the efficiency of the learning activity package was higher than the set criterion (85.82/88.80). (2) The learning achievement of students taught with the learning activity package integrated with augmented reality media was significantly higher than the established criterion at the 0.05 level of statistical significance.
