Attitude and Behavior for Disease Prevention in Lumpy Skin Disease of Native Cattle’s Farmers of Cha-am District, Phetchaburi Province

The purposes of this research were to study attitude and behavior for disease prevention in Lumpy Skin Disease of native cattle’s farmers at Cha-am district, Phetchaburi province. The samples were consisted of 138 farmers. A questionnaire used for collecting data and a package of the computer program applied for data analysis. Statistics used in this study were frequency, percentile, mean and standard deviation. The most findings showed nearly all farmer (156 people, 99.36%) used to receive information about Avian Influenza. The results found that the farmers had an overall attitude was at a medium level. (Mean = 2.35, S.D. = 0.54) and found that farmers showed positive behavior to disease prevention i.e. they have a fence, mosquito breeding sites are eliminated, landscape around the farm has been adjusted and use of chemical elimination for pest control.
