This issue of the Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mahamakut Buddhist University, Isan Campus presents scholarly works that reflect the diversity of social, cultural, religious, and human development issues within the context of contemporary Thai society. The articles aim to explain the meanings, values, and ideologies that shape people’s ways of life through systematic analytical frameworks in the humanities and social sciences. The issue begins with a study of march songs as cultural media that construct identity and pride among vocational students, followed by an article that integrates Buddhism with modern medicine in the psychological healing of terminally ill patients. In addition, the issue covers topics related to the development of language skills in the digital era, community empowerment in addressing drug abuse problems, and the role of faith as a moral foundation of society. Overall, this issue highlights the potential of humanities and social sciences knowledge in understanding and advancing Thai society in a meaningful and sustainable manner.
