PROMOTION OF SANGHA AFFAIRS ACCORDING TO SANGKHAHAWATTHU 4 IN SANGHA GOVERNMENTAL AREA OF KHON KAEN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis are as follows: 1) to study the level of promotion of the work of the Sangha according to Sangkahavattu 4, 2) to compare the promotion of the work of the Sangha according to Sangkahavattu 4, classified by age, years in monkhood, level of Dhamma education, and level of secular education, 3) to propose recommendations for promoting the work of the Sangha according to Sangkahavattu 4 in the jurisdiction of the Sangha in Khon Kaen province, using a questionnaire to collect data from a sample group of 382 individuals. The statistical methods used include frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA), and the least significant difference (LSD) test.The research findings are as follows: 1) the population of the Sangha in the jurisdiction of the Sangha in Khon Kaen province has a high level of promotion of the work of the Sangha according to Sangkahavattu 4 overall. When considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect with the highest average score is governance, followed by education, propagation of Buddhism, public welfare, Sangha education, and public support, while the aspect with the lowest average score is Sangkahavattu 4, 2) in comparing the level of promotion of the work of the Sangha according to Sangkahavattu 4 in the jurisdiction of the Sangha in Khon Kaen province, it was found that there are significant differences in the promotion of the work of the Sangha according to Sangkahavattu 4 among different age groups, years in monkhood, level of Dhamma education, and level of secular education, with a statistical significance level of 0.05, 3) suggestions: There should be strengthening and development of promoting Sangha activities according to the 4 principles of Sangha Vatthu in the Sangha Administrative Area of Khon Kaen Province. There should be information and public relations and appoint inspectors for various projects. They should strengthen and develop the effectiveness of Follow the principles of Sangha Vatthu 4 in every sub-district, every district, Khon Kaen Province by promoting and instill the people to follow the principles of Sangha Vatthu 4.
