PROMOTING DEMOCRACY IN PHRA PARIYATITHAM WAT SI NUAN SCHOOL MUEANG KHON KAEN DISTRICT KHON KAEN PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) study the promotion of democracy in Phrapariyattham Wat Srinuan school, Mueang Khon Kaen District, Khon Kaen Province 2) to study recommendations regarding promoting democracy in Phrapariyattham Wat Srinuan School, Mueang Khon Kaen District, Khon Kaen Province. The sample group used in the research were 114 monks and novices who studied around Phrapariyattitham Wat Srinuan School, Nai Mueang Subdistrict, Mueang Khon Kaen District, Khon Kaen Province. The research instrument was a questionnaire created by the researcher combining a checklist form with a rating scale regarding the promotion of democracy in Phrapariyattham School. Data were analyzed by finding descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results of the research found that: 1) Promotion of democracy in Phrapariyattham Wat Srinuan School, Mueang Khon Kaen District, Khon Kaen Province in all aspects Overall, it is at a high level, arranged from highest to lowest is respect for the rules, social responsibility, and respect for the rights of others. 2) Suggestions on respecting the rules by providing training to accept and follow school rules. Whether it's a big or small matter to keep oneself in order, respecting the rights of others. By accepting the idea, respect others' rights to express their opinions and giving freedom to do various things without interfering with the rights of others, social responsibility by fulfilling their duties and helping others to achieve their assigned duties to the best of their ability.
