Abstract
This article is intended to the Enlightenment of the Prostitute in Buddhist Scripture. The methods of this research work are documentary study by searching the data focus on the concept of Buddhist Ethics and Careers in Buddhism in Tipitaka, Commentaries, Sub-commentaries, related research works and analysis all data regarding the Buddhist ethics principles and careers
The objectives of this study is: to study the Enlightenment of the Prostitute in
Buddhist There is a conclusion found that having a prostitution career is not an obstacle to achieving Dharma. Therefore showing the potential from the prostitutes who have developed themselves to the highest level there are 4 prostitutes who attain to the Arhat. PhraAthtattheri,PhraAphaimatathiri, PhraAmpalipalithiri, PhraWimlahiri and the enlightenment Sotàpanna is NangSirima. The Enlightenment of the Prostitute is a reflection of the faithfulness of prostitutes. Because of boredom of having a prostitution career. Therefore requesting to be ordained and succeeded as a noble person and attain Sotàpanna as an Arahant.
