Dhatuvatthumanjari Scripture: Transliteration, Translation, and Analysis

Abstract
This research article has the objective 1) To study the history and structure of the Dhatuvadamangala Sutra. 2) To transliterate the Dhatuvadamangala Sutra from Burmese Pali script into Thai Pali script and translate it into Thai. 3) To study and analyze the dhatus (linguistic elements), groups of dhatus, and the meanings of dhatus in the Dhatuvadamangala Sutra. This research is a qualitative study based on document analysis, involving the analysis, transliteration. The research results found that 1) History and Structure of the Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī The Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī is a grammar text that focuses on Pali roots. Its unique feature is its arrangement of roots and their meanings in Pali verse, making it easy to memorize and study. This text compiles 332 frequently used and important roots, along with detailed examples and explanations. 2) Adaptation and Translation of Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī The Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī has been adapted from Burmese Pali script to Thai Pali script and translated into Thai. The content is organized as follows: (a) A narrative about the history of the Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī, and (b) a preface discussing the purpose of compiling this text. The main content is divided into 8 chapters, each with examples to aid understanding. 3) Analysis of Roots, Root Groups, and Meanings in Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī The Dhātuvatthu Mañjuśrī is analyzed in terms of its roots, groups of roots, and meanings of those roots. The text is composed of various sections, including roots, root groups, and their explanations. It is a compilation of Pali prose (juṇṇiya) gathered from numerous texts, focusing on frequently used roots and arranged them in Pali verse with explanations. These roots are divided into 7 chapters for easier memorization by Pali language students.
