Application of Buddhist Principles to Promote Work Effciency of Wang Thonglang District Office Personnel Bangkok

Abstract

The objective of this research papers were: 1) To study the level of work efficiency of the personnel of Wang Thonglang District Office, Bangkok. 2) To study the relationship between the four bases of influence and the work efficiency of the personnel of Wang Thonglang District Office, Bangkok. 3) To study and present the application of Buddhist principles to the work efficiency of the personnel of Wang Thonglang District Office, Bangkok. A mixed-method research method was used to collect data from 399 samples and conduct in-depth interviews with 9 key informants. The results showed that: 1) Work efficiency of the personnel of Wang Thonglang District Office, Bangkok The overall work efficiency of the personnel of Wang Thonglang District Office, Bangkok was at a moderate level ( =3.24). When considering each aspect, all aspects were at a moderate level. The average values ​​were as follows: Cost, Time, Quality, Quantity, and Method. 2) The relationship between the four bases of influence and Method Bangkok found that the overall principle of the Four Bases of Influence was at a moderate level ( =3.29). When considering each aspect, they were at a moderate level in all aspects, as ranked by the following average values: Chanda, job satisfaction, followed by Viriya, diligence in work, thirdly Chitta, attentiveness in work, and fourthly Vimangsa, working with wisdom, respectively. 3) Application of Buddhist principles to efficiency of Wang Thonglang District Office personnel, Bangkok in 5 aspects: 1) Cost 2) Quality 3) Quantity 4) Time 5) Method by applying the principle of the Four Bases of Influence to the efficiency of Wang Thonglang District Office personnel, Bangkok, namely 1) Chanda, job satisfaction 2) Viriya, diligence in work 3) Chitta, attentiveness in work  4) Vimangsa, working with wisdom.
