Abstract

ABSTRACT

This research article aimed to: (1) examine the current conditions and problems in the implementation of the Honest School Project in schools under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1; and (2) propose guidelines for improving the implementation of the Honest School Project in schools under the same office. This study employed a mixed-methods research design. The research procedures were divided into two phases. The first phase involved investigating the conditions and problems in implementing the Honest School Project in schools under the Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample consisted of 118 school administrators under the aforementioned office, with the sample size determined using the Krejcie and Morgan table. The research instrument was a five-point Likert scale questionnaire. The second phase focused on developing guidelines for the implementation of the Honest School Project. Key informants were five experts selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was a structured interview. Data were analyzed using frequency, percentage, and mean. The findings revealed that: (1) school administrators, teachers, and educational personnel encountered problems at the highest level in collaboratively planning activities for the Thai Youth Leaders Network Camp: STRONG Heart; and (2) the most needed aspect in improving the implementation process of the Honest School Project was planning for the Thai Youth Leaders Network Camp: STRONG Heart.

Based on the interviews, the proposed guidelines suggest that administrators should implement systematic planning criteria, clearly assign responsibilities for each camp activity in alignment with objectives, set clear goals, and support the design of out-of-classroom learning activities that foster new and positive learning experiences.
