Public satisfaction with the service of Bang Luk Suea Subdistrict Administrative Organization, Ongkharak District Nakhon Nayok Province

Abstract

This research were aimed 1) to study about the satisfactory level of people who received government service at the Office of Bang Luk Suea Sub-district Administrative Organization, Ongkhalak in Nakorn Nayok Province and 2) to study on their suggestions regarding the government service received at the Office of Bang Luk Suea Sub-district  Administrative Organization, Ongkhalak in Nakorn Nayok Province. The research sample consisted of 347 residents living in the area of Bang Luk Suea Sub-district Administrative Organization. The research instrument is 15 items of 5-point Likert scale. The Discrimination Value was ranked from 0.61 to 0.83 with 0.94 Value of Cronbach’s Alpha Coefficient of the whole test item. The analytical analysis used in this research are Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation and Hypothesis Testing.


The research finding were as follows :


The satisfactory level towards the government service received at the Office of Bang Luk Suea Sub-district Administrative Organization, Ongkhalak in Nakorn Nayok Province poses a high level in general. When considering into each aspect; every aspect showed a high score level of serving the service. The highest score falls on the aspect of ‘time’. The medium aspect falls on the aspect of ‘Serving the Service’ and the aspect of ‘Facilitating’. The lowest score level falls on the aspect of the staff who served the government service respectively. When considering into each aspect, the explanations were the followings;


1) For the aspect of ‘Time’, the result shows a high level. Each question item shows the high level in general. The highest score of the practice falls on the issue of ‘Serving the service within the time frame’. The lower score falls on the aspect of ‘the quickness of serving the service’ respectively.


2) For the aspect of ‘The Procedures of Serving the Service’, the result shows a high level. When considering into each aspect, the high score level was shown.The highest score of the practice falls on the issue of ‘Serving the service to the right queue’. The less score falls on the aspect of ‘the information concerning the Service Procedures and its Duration. The lowest score falls on the aspect of ‘The Service Procedures reduction and the cooperation with other sections’ respectively.


3) For the aspect of ‘Staff’, the result shows a high level. When considering into each question item showed the high level. The highest score of the practice falls on the issue of ‘The Willingness and The Readiness to Serve the Service’. The lower score falls on the aspect of ‘the equity of Serving the Service. The lowest score falls on the area of ‘The Honesty when Serving the Service’ respectively.


4) For the aspect of ‘Facilitation’, the result showed a high level. When considering into each question item, there found 4 aspects with the high level, and one aspect with a medium level. The highest score falls on the aspect of ‘The Adequacy of The Facilitation such as seats in the waiting area, drinking water, newspaper, etc. The lower score falls on the aspect of ‘The Clearness of Signs, Symbols and, Information on Different Services. The lowest score falls on the aspect of ‘The Service to Elderly and Disables such as curb ramp, bathrooms respectively.


            The suggestions to support the satisfactory level of the people who received the service at the Office of Bang Luk Suea Sub-district Administrative Organization, Ongkhalak in Nakorn Nayok Province were namely; the information from the Sub-district Administrative Organization and the increase of the voice service should be made for the residents to be informed about the information and news. Moreover, there should be some survey trips in the area of Bang Luk Suea Sub-district Administrative Organization, Ongkhalak in Nakorn Nayok Province. The spent budget and how it was organized for the community development should also be explained such as how it is spent, how it would support in the community, etc. for the transparency when administrating the budget.
