ค่า VOT ของเสียงพยัญชนะกลุ่มกักภาษาเกาหลี ของผู้พูดภาษาไทยที่ศึกษาภาษาเกาหลีเป็นภาษาต่างประเทศ

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อวิเคราะห์ค่า VOT ของเสียงพยัญชนะกลุ่มกักภาษาเกาหลีของผู้พูดภาษาไทยที่ศึกษาภาษาเกาหลีเป็นภาษาต่างประเทศ ผู้ให้ข้อมูลภาษาเป็นผู้พูดภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาแม่ที่กำลังศึกษาภาษาเกาหลีเป็นภาษาต่างประเทศ จำนวน 3 คน และผู้พูดภาษาเกาหลีถิ่นโซลเป็นภาษาแม่ จำนวน 1 คน รายการคำตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลประกอบด้วยคำที่มีเสียงพยัญชนะต้นเป็นพยัญชนะกักภาษาเกาหลีทั้งสามประเภท ได้แก่ พยัญชนะกักพ่นลม กักเกร็ง และกักคลาย จาก 3 ฐานกรณ์ ได้แก่ ฐานกรณ์ริมฝีปาก ปุ่มเหงือก และเพดานอ่อน นอกจากนี้ ยังได้เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากรายการคำตัวอย่างที่มีเสียงพยัญชนะต้นเป็นพยัญชนะกักภาษาไทยทั้งสามประเภท ได้แก่ พยัญชนะกักไม่ก้องพ่นลม กักไม่ก้องไม่พ่นลม และกักก้อง เพื่อใช้เป็นข้อมูลอ้างอิงเปรียบเทียบ วิธีการทางสถิติที่ใช้เป็นสถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต (Mean) และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน (S.D.)
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้พูดภาษาไทยเป็นภาษาแม่สามารถออกเสียงพยัญชนะกักพ่นลมในภาษาเกาหลีได้ถูกต้องและมีค่า VOT ใกล้เคียงกับผู้พูดภาษาเกาหลีเป็นภาษาแม่ ขณะที่เสียงพยัญชนะกักคลาย ฐานกรณ์ริมฝีปากและปุ่มเหงือก มีค่า VOT เป็นลบ (Voicing Lead) ซึ่งบ่งชี้ถึงการออกเสียงเป็นเสียงกักก้องในเชิงกลสัทศาสตร์ คล้ายกับเสียงกักก้องในภาษาไทย ค่า VOT ของเสียงพยัญชนะกักคลายฐานกรณ์เพดานอ่อน มีทั้งที่มากกว่าและน้อยกว่าค่า VOT ของเสียงพยัญชนะกักเกร็งฐานกรณ์เดียวกันโดยแตกต่างกันไปในผู้พูดแต่ละคน สำหรับเสียงพยัญชนะกักเกร็งจะมีค่า VOT ต่ำที่สุดเมื่อเทียบกับพยัญชนะกักประเภทอื่น และมีลักษณะค่อนข้างคงที่ในทุกฐานกรณ์ในผู้พูดทุกคน
