THE OPINIONS OF PARENT TOWARD THE STUDENT SAFETY IN THE CHILDREN CARE CENTER UNDER THE SUBDISTRICT ADMINISTRATION ORGANIZATION, PHOCHAI DISTRICT UBONRACHATHANI PROVINCE

Abstract

The objectives of this research were : 1) to study the opinions of parent toward the student safety in the children care center under the subdistrict administration organization, Phochai district Ubonrachathani province 2) to compare the opinions of parent toward the student safety in the children care center under the subdistrict administration organization, Phochai district Ubonrachathani province according to sex, age, level of education and 3)

to study the suggestions about the parents' opinions toward the student safety in the children care center under the subdistrict administration organization, Phochai district Ubonrachathani province.  The sample consisted of parents of students at the children care center under the subdistrict administration organization, Phochai district Ubonrachathani province, 2556, consisting of 291 people, which were selected by simple random sampling and determined the sample size by using the tables of Krejcie and Morgan. The instrument used in this research was the rating scale questionnaire with 5 levels of reliability was 0.91. The statistics used in the research were frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, independent t-test, and F-test (One-Way ANOVA).

The results  founded  that :

1. The opinions of parent toward the student safety in the children care center under the subdistrict administration organization, Phochai district Ubonrachathani province was moderate intermediate, when considering each of them, The Playground was highest average, and the nutrition, but the sanitation was the lowest average.


2. Parents’classified by sex, age, and level of education, the sex, age and level of education were not different. But the age of parent toward the student safety in the children care center such as the building ,environmental and safety were different, statistically significant at the .05


3. To study the suggestions about the parents' opinions toward the student safety in the children care center under the subdistrict administration organization, Phochai district Ubonrachathani province were : 1) the buildings and areas were not suitable enough, so the school should improve such as the fence, the bulletin board, etc, 2) The Playground is ground, it doesn’t have lawn, so school should improve playground turf for safety, 3) The Nutrition found that a hot in roof, so it should improve, 4) the health status have found a dental check the little boy and school should be so many dentists to provide dental care of the child at least two times per year.
