LEARNING MANAGEMENT USING TEACHING MATERIALS ON THE GROUP DANCE, RABUM DAOWADENG IN THAI DRAMATIC ART COURSE, DRAMA 3, COURSE CODE SOR 32207, MATTHAYOMSUKSA 5

Abstract

The objectives of this thesis paper were as follows: 1) to create and find the effectiveness of learning management using teaching materials, 2) to compare the learning achievement before and after learning management using teaching materials, 3) to study the percentage of progress between pre and post study skills in practice and 4) to study students' satisfaction towards learning management using teaching materials on the group dance, Rabum Dowwadurng in Thai Dramatic Art Course, Drama 3, course code sor 32207, Matthayomsuksa 5 students. The research target group were 15 female students enrolled in Thai Dramatic Art, only Lakhon Phra, Matthayomsuksa 5, Nakhon Si Thammarat College of Dramatic Arts, Semester 1, academic year 2017. The tools used in the study were course teaching materials, academic achievement test which have shown difficulty level (p) from 0.23–0.80 and discriminant power (r) from 0.25–0.88, with a confidence value of 0.88 and above, Various assessments form and the student satisfaction assessment form has shown a confidence value of 0.69. The statistics used for data analysis were E₁/E₂ efficiency, Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation.

              The results were as follows:

1. The efficiency of learning management using the teaching materials on the group dance, Rabum Dowwadurng in Thai Dramatic Art Course, Drama 3, course code sor 32207, Matthayomsuksa 5 was effective as 82.81/ 83.11, which met the established 80/80 criteria.


2. The learning achievement of students who studied by using the teaching materials on the group dance, Rabum Dowwadurng in Thai Dramatic Art Course, Drama 3, course code sor 32207, Matthayomsuksa 5 students after studying has shown higher level than the pre study scores. The students' achievement scores were 61.33 percent, while 83.11 percent of the post study scores.


3. The percentage of progress of the skills for performing “tharam” after study was 53.06%.

            4. The students' satisfaction with learning management using teaching materials on the group dance, Rabum Dowwadurng in Thai Dramatic Art Course, Drama 3, course code sor 32207, Matthayomsuksa 5 were satisfied at the highest level (=53,= .46)
