Effects of Corona Virus Spreading on the Military Government Office, Chakrabongse Fort, Muang District, Prachinburi Province

Abstract

This research were aimed 1) to study about the effects of the spread of Corona Virus  on the Military Government Office, Chakrabongse Fort, Muang Prachinburi District, Prachinburi Province, 2) to study about suggestions on the effects of the spread of Corona Virus on the Military Government Office, Chakrabongse Fort, Muang Prachinburi District, Prachinburi Province. The population used in the research were 750 respondents which were 300 soldiers, 250 male/female noncommissioned officers, 50 male/female commissioned officers, 70 janitors, and 80 male/female children. The research sample consisted of 490 respondents which were 169 soldiers, 152 male/female noncommissioned officers, 44 male/female commissioned officers, 59 janitors, and 66 male/female children. Krejcie and Morgan table formula was used for the sample size. The research instrument was 20 items of 5-Likert Rating Scale questionnaire in 5 levels.The Discrimination Value (r) was ranking from 0.488 to 0.865. The Reliability value using Cronbach’s alpha coefficient in which the whole level of the Reliability value was 0.95.The statistics used to analyze the data were Frequency, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation.

The research finding were as follows :

1. The effects of the spread of Corona Virus on the Military Government Office, Chakrabongse Fort, Muang Prachinburi District, Prachinburi Province overall there was a high level of the effect. When considering into each aspect, it was affected in all aspects in a high level. The aspect which received the highest level of effect was ‘the effect on the Social’ which was followed by the aspect of ‘the effect on the Economic’, respectively. When considering into each aspect, the results were;

    1.1 The effect on the economic overall showed an effect in a high level. When considering into each item, there were a high level of the effect in all items. The item which received the highest level of the effect was the item of ‘The Spread of Coronavirus 2019 in which it added the household debts’, which was followed by the item of ‘The Spread of Coronavirus 2019 makes the household financial status unstable and Coronavirus 2019worsens the living in household’, respectively. The item which received the lowest level of the effect was the item of ‘The Spread of Coronavirus 2019 reduces the household saving rate’.

    1.2 In the aspect of the effect on the Social, overall there was a high level of effect. When considering into each item, there were 11 items which received a high level, while there were 2 items which received a moderate level. The item which received the highest score was ‘The Spread of Coronavirus 2019 makes some difficulty to outdoor recreational activities, for example, doing exercise in a public place was difficult and people were needed to be more careful’, which was followed by the aspect of ‘The Spread of Coronavirus 2019 was more  problematic in living in a social, respectively. The item which received the lowest score was ‘The Spread of Coronavirus 2019develops the relationship with other family members.’

1. 2. The suggestions on the effects of the spread of Corona Virus on the Military Government Office, Chakrabongse Fort, Muang Prachinburi District, Prachinburi Province was to set a campaign on building correct knowledge and understanding about the Spread, the correct ways of treatment of Coronavirus 2019 by starting from self-treatment to the treatment from doctors. There should be a campaign on categorizing COVID-19patients, separating them from Influenza and COVID-19 in order for the people to have as much as knowledge and understanding to prevent and cure in a correct way. Moreover, there should be a serious study about Thai herbs in a government office to be another way to save budgets in which the herb is easily accessible which was accessed by people with low income and was easily accessible to cure the patients.
