The Life Quality of Staff working in Muang Prachinburi Municipality Office

Abstract

The objectives of this research were to 1) to study about the life quality in working of Muang Prachinburi Municipality staff, and 2) to study about suggestions in developing the life quality in working of Muang Prachinburi Municipality staff. The population was Muang Prachinburi Municipality staff of 207 people. The sample group was Muang Prachinburi Municipality staff. The sample size was determined by Taro Yamane's method by using proportional stratification and a simple random sampling of 133 people. The research instrument was a 5-level estimation scale questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.83. The statistics used to analyze the data were frequency and percentage, mean and standard deviation.

The research finding were as follows :

1. The overall quality of working life of Muang Prachinburi Municipality staff was at a moderate level=3.46.Considering each aspect, it was found that at a high level, 3 aspects were social benefits and social responsibility =4.15, balance in work roles =3.63, conformity with constitutional monarchy =3.55and at a moderate level, in 5 aspects, namely : Opportunity to develop human competencyง =3.45, Working conditions are safe and correct in terms of health = 3.41, Opportunities for advancement and stability, =3.34, Social integrity within the organization, =3.30 and adequate and fair compensation =2.85, respectively.


2. To study about suggestions in developing the life quality in working of Muang Prachinburi Municipality staff found that develop in matters of adequate compensation, improve the workplace to be sufficient and modern, educational support in all institutions, work duties were clearly delegated appropriately and there would be more incentives and morale building for personnel in the organization, unity respect each other in the organization and the leader should have leadership were sincere to solve problems for subordinates and provide accommodation sufficient to meet the needs of the officials.
