A DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNAL SUPERVISION MANUAL THROUGH A GUIDING PROCESS AND MENTORING SYSTEM OF BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOLS UNDER THE CHANUANNIPHAN NETWORK, SURAT THANI PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SERVICE AREA OFFICE 3

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the problems and needs of manuals 2) to develop manuals, and 3) to evaluate the use of internal supervision manuals through guiding processes and mentoring systems. The researcher implements the research and development to conduct this study in three steps as follows. Step 1 was used to study the problem and the need for the manual. The sample consisted of 22 school administrators and teachers responsible for the academic work by conducting the group discussion recording form. Step 2 was used to develop the manual to assess the consistency of the manual's content by seven qualified persons. Step 3 was used to evaluate the use of the manual. The sample group consisted of school administrators and educational institutes. Teachers responsible for academic work and 37 teachers using a skill assessment test and satisfaction assessment form. The data were analyzed using percentages, mean, standard deviation, and statistical test values. The results of the research found that 1) problems of supervision within schools in the insulation network without a manual or a clear pattern. Therefore, it is challenging to develop teachers' teaching quality, causing them not to understand the work. There was an issue in teaching because of a lack of direction. The student's achievement did not meet the goals set and has not been systematically corrected. Therefore, there is a solid requirement for networks to have internal supervision manuals for educational institutions. 2) the results of the development of the supervision manual consisted of the front part: cover, introduction, table of contents, definitions, objectives, and explanations. The content part was introduction and supervision within schools. Guidelines for conducting supervision through a guiding process and a mentoring system Guidelines for conducting internal supervision activities. Guidelines for assessing supervision reporting of supervisory results, summaries, and footer, including references and appendices. The results of the manual examination by seven experts found that the consistency index was 1.00 in all aspects, and 3) the results of the manual, it was found that the knowledge and understanding in using the manual were higher than the pre-test average after the experiment use with statistical significance at the .05 level at the highest level, and the satisfaction assessment results were at the highest level.
