MEDIATION EFFECTS OF TEACHERS’ LEADERSHIP ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ADMINISTRATORS’ LEADERSHIP, MODERN DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY, AND TEACHING QUALITY IN ART UNIVERSITIES IN HEBEI PROVINCE

The research objectives were: (1) To verify a model of the mediation factors of teacher leadership on the relationship between administrators’ leadership, modern digital educational technology, and teaching quality in art universities in Hebei Province, and (2) To decompose the direct and indirect effects of administrators’ leadership, modern digital educational technology, and teacher leadership on teaching quality in Art Universities in Hebei Province. The sample size was 359 teachers, determined by G*Power and using a stratified random sampling method. The research instrument was a 5-point scale questionnaire for collecting data and was analyzed by means, standard deviation, CFA, and SEM. The research found that: (1) The model of mediation factors of Teacher’s leadership on the relationship between Administrators’ leadership, Modern digital educational technology factors, and Teaching quality in Art universities fits well with empirical data (Chi-square=106.42, df=48, CMIN/df=2.22, GFI=.95, CFI=.97, RMSEA=.06), and (2) Teacher leadership had a positive direct effect on teaching quality, administrators’ leadership, and modern digital educational technology factors had a positive direct effect on teaching quality and teacher leadership. (p< .001). In addition, Administrators’ leadership and modern digital educational technology factors had an indirect effect on teaching quality via teacher leadership which was the mediator.
